The three-pronged waterfall known as Tindhare Jharana is going viral on social media. The enticing waterfall has attracted the hearts of many people.

People from Banepa, Dhulikhel, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur visit the tindhara waterfall located at Kafaldanda in Roshi Gaonpalika-2 of Kavrepalanchok district. The flow of water falling from a height of about three hundred meters looks attractive.

How to reach tindhare jharana?

The waterfall is located at a distance of 60 km from Kathmandu and can be reached at a distance of 30 km from Dhulikhel.

From Kathmandu in the morning, passing through Bhaktapur, Banepa, Dhulikhel, Bardibas of Sindhuli, Namo Buddha, Dapcha, Jaruwa river and after walking for an hour from Kafal hill, you can reach the destination of the waterfall.

Tindhare Co-ordinating committee:

Bir Bahadur Magar, chairman of the Tindhara Jharana Coordinating Committee, said the waterfall was already there but was disappearing as no one could see it.

He informed that the work of laying stones has been started on the initiative of locals and villagers after the tourists complained that there were many problems due to the road.

Chairman Magar clarified that a budget of Rs. 5 lakh. He also said that a railing fence has been erected to prevent tourists from falling from the waterfall and causing accidents.According to him, the movement of people in this waterfall has increased exponentially.

The pressure on the waterfall has skyrocketed in the last two months. Although the waterfall is still in its natural shape, it has changed its course recently and has become more attractive, said Chairman Magar.

Hidden Waterfall at kavre district:


Tindhare jharana, which was not much talked about till some time ago, is now crowded with people. According to Chairman Magar, an average of 1,500 to 2,000 people visit the waterfall daily. The locals say that it is necessary to promote the area around the waterfall.

They also demanded the identification and promotion of destinations like Tamakhani, Jhankri Cave, Mahabhir Chhanga, Panchkanya Pokhari and Kamalpokhari around the waterfall.
